Stenay attack today

Today Allfor has attacked Stenay. We have placed a fortified spawn 400m from the enemy army base. Then we have dug in and placed three 57mm anti-tank guns. And then we waited. The development of the battle can be seen in the screenshots.

Developing our position, some armour has arrived, but we are struggling to capture a choke point. This is due to the position of our spawn, which is opposite the army base. It is difficult to cross the army base.



AB ours. After a good fight we managed to capture army base. Ltsolina has managed to enter bunker after enemy players have cleared it and capture it.

Bunker is ours and we are capturing last capture points in town.

Next, we have attacked Phullipville. We dropped about 30 paratroopers, managed to capture our spawnable and with great effort additional capture points.
The enemy army base is surrounded quite beautifully. We have captured it shortly afterwards.

Christmas 2015 patch

Well I had fun this Christmas! Following the release of the Christmas patch and during the holidays, I have had the most fun in years in this game.

Many players logged in, Allfor had good numbers, and we helped pushing the front line eastwards.

And it was about time - it looked like a certain defeat for the Allies. Since than we slowly but steadily march east!

A few days ago the Germans received Tigers, which surely does not help us in our advance, but on the other hand surely helps our kill statistics...

The new patch brought a big change: mobile spawn points are now only placed by lorries, not mission leaders on foot.

I was not convinced at first that this is a positive change, but I am convinced now. It looks like people are cooperating and communicating more. I also have the feeling that the amount of mobile spawn points available for spawning and attacking has increased.

I do not think the detectability of a lorry is a big issue - one day, Pictboy3 placed a great spawn point 400 m from an army base in a big city - it survived for more than an hour, during which we (unsuccessfully) tried to capture the army base.

Yesterday, a new player, Chev, joined our squad. He subscribed immediately for a year (!). Squadies, please help him grind trough the ranks as fast as possible!

Idea for a game starting page

I think that especially new players should be able to quickly and easily enter the fight. At the same time, it should look nice. This idea is based around a front lines map showing recent and ongoing attacks and defences, while at the same time offering five most populated/interesting missions to choose from immediately.
